Dementia Workshop by MJ Grant - hosted by Deaf Seniors of NC

The Deaf Seniors of North Carolina will host a workshop by MJ Grant on caregiving for folks with dementia, on June 7 from 9:00am-3:00pm, at UNCG.

MJ Grant is a well-known speaker and presenter, who has been a caregiver for her Deaf mother as her mother’s symptoms of dementia have continued to progress. MJ will speak about her frustrations to find accessible services and communication access for her mother.

Triad Deaf Senior Citizens Event

The Triad Deaf Senior Citizens will meet at 1175 Revolution Mill Drive in October! Join them for fun, chatting, card games, and tasty food! Adults are $10 with covered dish, $15 without.

The Triad Deaf Senior Citizens will host their regular monthly event, including a free presentation about Wills and POA!

Join them for a presentation by Shaun Arnold about Living Wills & Power of Attorney. Please arrive by 10:30am, and the presentation will start at 11:00am. This presentation is free. We ask for RSVPs advance to help know how many folks will be there - RSVP here!

Then, stay for their event afterward! Cost is $10 with food, $15 without.
