We make 45 look good!

Thank you for your interest in CSDHH and what we do! We are a non-profit working in the Greensboro area for 45 years, helping to increase awareness, access, and inclusion for the Deaf community. We do some fabulous work, read-on to see some of our programs and ways you can get involved!

Sign Language Classes

Have you always wanted to learn sign language? Do you want to chat directly with one of your favorite queens, Kasey Parley? Can you see yourself on stage signing your favorite songs?

We'll be offering a session soon in the Spring, and you can be the first to know when registration is open.

Newsletter

The best way to stay involved with CSDHH and our various events is to sign up for our monthly email newsletter. We won't fill up your inbox with emails, just the occasional message letting you know about events we have going on!

Interpreting

CSDHH provides sign language interpreting to businesses and organizations who work with individuals who are Deaf. Interpreters work as facilitators to allow you to communicate directly with Deaf individuals.

The Human Race

Every year, CSDHH participates in the Human Race, which is a wonderful race and fundraiser where local non-profits build teams, raise money for needed programs, and have a great time!

We’re always in need of donations to our team, as well as people volunteering, walking, and racing! Last year was a huge group, will you help make April 18 an even larger group? Join our team!

Events

We post all of the events we host, as well as other events in the community that overlap with our population (events like Green Queen Bingo!) on our events calendar. See what's going on soon!

Captioning

Individuals with hearing loss who don't use sign language often rely on real-time captioning to be able to access meetings, classes, or other things. CSDHH has been meeting the growing need in the Triad and North Carolina for quality captioning services.
