At our Community Appreciation event back in December, we said we would host several presentations during 2026. Now it is 2026 and time is moving on, so we want to announce a workshop related to grief.
Grief is not only about when someone passes away, there are many different kinds of grief. Maybe you have a longterm friendship which has dissolved, or you are retiring from a job that you truly love. Those are kinds of grief. The workshop will dive deep into the topic, talking about how to recognize signs of grief, now to navigate those feelings, and what resources are available.
This workshop will be Saturday, May 2nd, from 10:00am–12:00pm here in Greensboro. The specific location and address is to be determined. You may be wondering who will provide the presentation and information for this session. We are excited to welcome Dr. Julianne Gold Brunson as the presenter. She is an expert with RHA Behavioral Health Services, and we're excited to learn from her about grief. We all have and will experience grief in our lives, so this is a very important topic.
Look for more information, about the specific location and RSVP process, to be released soon! If you're interested in attending this session, or have additional questions, please contact our office. Thanks for watching, and we hope that you are excited to come and learn at this workshop.
